Over the course of his career, David Peterman has worked on every aspect of automated control facility design, including DDC electronic and pneumatic systems. David is also an expert designer of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Since joining RDA in 1987, David has served as design director for clients including Soros Fund Management, Loews Corporation, Dreyfus Corporation, The MONY Group, Mitsui & Co. (USA) and Estee Lauder Companies In addition to his primary responsibility as one of the firm’s studio leaders, David is often RDA’s representative when the firm is called upon to assume the role of building engineer. In that capacity, David has designed numerous refrigeration plant replacement/retrofits as well as many other HVAC building infrastructure upgrades. David has also developed building standard rules and regulations for tenant construction practices.

A licensed mechanical engineer in New York and California, David is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University.
