Since joining RDA in 1985, Martin Konikoff has overseen many of the firm’s largest tenant alteration and building modernization projects for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential developments. His engineering specialties include design of medium voltage distribution systems, lighting retrofit for energy conservation, life safety programs, and vertical transportation systems. And as a result of his unparalleled performance and attention to detail, he is currently RDA’s director of quality control.
As director of quality control, among Martin’s primary duties are to chair in-house strategy meetings on every project, to ensure all work is properly coordinated among the trades, and to check the technical correctness of the project, both individually and collectively, beginning at the schematic phase and concluding at the completion of the contract documents.
A licensed professional engineer in New York and California, Martin is an electrical engineering graduate of the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science. Martin is also an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
