Tom Brown has been active in the field of telecommunications infrastructure design since 1997. During this time he has gained valuable experience working with small and large companies and institutions and with their respective design and construction teams. He understands the need for flexible telecommunications infrastructure designs that realistically, efficiently and cost effectively accommodate ever-changing requirements over time. Tom adheres to TIA/EIA industry standards in his work while still approaching each project with fresh ideas and with attention to client requirements and preferences.
In addition to design, Tom has had significant field experience on large projects. He was the full time site engineer for the build out of Lehman Brothers 1,000,000 square foot headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. He was the Lead Engineer and Project Manager for the build-out of McGraw Hill’s 180,000 square foot Data Center. He has been the Lead Engineer on projects for major corporations such as Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley & Mirage Resorts. Tom has functioned as the project manager for Caxton, LVMH Watch & Jewelry, Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, Soros and several Data Center projects. He has also demonstrated his ability to effectively manage the installation of telecom pathways including extensive survey work for telecom risers. Some buildings are 1633 Broadway, 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 1301 Avenue of the Americas, 70 Hudson (in Jersey City), etc.
Tom is a graduate of Polytechnic University. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering and is a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer.
