Ian’s primary involvement has been managing projects for world-renowned clients. His detail-driven approach and extensive field experience help identify potential obstacles and issues before they happen to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

Ian is a technical leader and studio head in the mechanical department. He focuses on cultivating young talent to ensure the RDA brand remains top-notch for years to come. He is also a member of Pi Tau Sigma, the International Mechanical Engineering Honor Society.

With over 20 years of experience, Tareq Batarseh is a seasoned expert in the design, management, and execution of large-scale commercial fit out and infrastructure upgrade projects. As one of the Managing Partners of RDA, Tareq has played a pivotal role in overseeing some of New York City’s most complex and high-profile projects, including major 1,000,000+ square foot fit outs for leading global companies like Disney, Google, Meta, and several other Fortune 100 clients.

Known for his technical expertise and direct problem-solving approach, Tareq is widely regarded as one of NYC’s top mechanical engineers in the field. From project inception to completion, Tareq is celebrated for his technical approach to problem-solving and his ability to manage large teams and resources effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Steven’s breadth of experience covers project management and electrical design for projects varying from greenfield data centers, medium voltage service and base building upgrades to complex trading floors, studios, cafes and large LEED certified interior fit-outs. Steven also supports his clients with lease reviews and negotiations, building evaluations, budgeting, contractor interviews and MEP standards development. Steven’s strongest asset is his ability to develop strong relationships with his clients and his dedication to constantly exceeding their expectations. In addition to supporting some of RDA’s largest clients, Steven plays an active role in mentoring, teaching and developing RDA’s young engineers into the leaders of tomorrow.

An experienced designer of high-technology commercial space, Marc Feldman is known throughout the industry for how smoothly his concepts move from design to application. Marc also specializes in pre-lease services including building due diligence and lease evaluations. Robert has over 20 years of experience in building engineering design, project management, and corporate account support. He is a senior electrical engineer with a great depth of knowledge in mechanical systems. His range of experience includes millions of SF of corporate interiors, core & shell repositioning, and ground-up building design. Robert has worked with many Fortune 50/100/500 companies as the national account manager for engineering services, with his area of focus being on corporate workplace, critical systems, and infrastructure.

He provides great value with his attention to detail at the due diligence and lease phases, and remains directly involved to provide a much needed consistency throughout the project. Robert promotes a “never say never” attitude and strives to keep an open line of communication with the entire project team to deliver a best-in-class experience for our clients.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a member of IEEE, CoreNet NYC, and CoreNet NJ.

Steven has over ten years of experience in both HVAC design engineering and mechanical contracting.  His previous work experience includes project management of large-scale commercial interiors projects, as well as infrastructure upgrades for building repositioning.  Steven draws from this background and field experience to meet complex design challenges with practical solutions – designs that account for field conditions, system operation, energy efficiency and sustainability.

Steven has since participated in and managed a wide variety of projects, including conference centers, auditoriums, catering kitchens, fitness centers, film/recording studios, amenity centers, building repositioning, showrooms, open office spaces and many more. His infrastructure work includes the design of hot water boilers and perimeter heating systems, domestic water heat pumps, energy recovery systems, condenser water systems, fuel oil storage and delivery, and chiller replacements.

Kevin is an Electrical Engineer by trade with diverse experience in designing electrical power, lighting and fire alarm systems for numerous clients primarily focusing on commercial interior spaces. His electrical design responsibilities comprise of load calculations, development of riser and single line diagrams, normal, emergency and UPS power distribution, power, lighting and fire alarm plans and lighting calculations and controls. He has successfully provided engineering services for various large fit out projects such as; over 850,000 SF of multi-use commercial spaces for Time Inc., over 1,000,000 SF of office spaces for Meta, over 1,000,000 SF of office space for Bank of America, over 250,000 SF of office and studio production spaces for Google, over 350,000 SF of learning and education space for Macmillan, over 200,000 SF of office space and infrastructure upgrade for Lazard Asset Management, over 150,000 SF of office spaces for Goodwin Procter.
