Kim Ferguson has specialized in the design and engineering of IT infrastructure and systems since 1991. From 1991 to 1995, Kim worked with a number of large, international consulting engineering firms as a project engineer and, eventually, as a project manager. As a founding partner and Managing Principal of Robert Derector Telecommunications, Kim functions as the Partner-in-Charge and Project Manager for a wide range of IT, AV, and security systems projects.
Kim’s experience at RDT includes managing the design and installation of the IT and security infrastructure for a 2.5 million square foot hotel and casino complex in Biloxi MS, the IT infrastructure and voice systems for 850,000 square feet of new HQ space for Condé Nast Publications and Lehman Brothers (now Barclay's) 1,000,000 sq. ft. 3000 trading position facility in NYC. Most recently, Kim oversaw upgrades of the IT infrastructure, security, and AV systems for a major mid-town law firm.
Kim has an electrical engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a member of Pi Beta Phi, National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), Association of Real Estate Women (AREW) and Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
In May of 2010, Kim received a lifetime achievement award from the Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
